Safety instructions
Read the following safety instructions Before operating the machine. Keep the User Guide. Failure to comply with the safety
instructions voids the warranty and may result in personal injury and damage to the machine. Dustcontrol is not responsible for
damage to the equipment caused by improper installation or improper operation of the equipment.
Do not use the machine until you have read the operating instructions. Read and observe the instructions before using the
machine. Before use, you must receive training as well as information and instructions on how to handle the dust extractor and
the dust to be extracted.
The machine must only be used by qualified personnel familiar with the provisions of Directive 2014/34/EU.
The machine must only be used in Zone 22, area where an explosive atmosphere is not expected to occur during normal
operation, but if it does occur, it will only be for a short period.
WARNING
When using electrical machines, basic safety instructions, including the following precautions, must be followed
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury.
The supplied connector (IP67) is only intended for connection outside the zone. Standard CEE wall sockets and grounded
sockets of the Schuko type are not permitted in Zone 22. The machine must therefore be connected outside Zone 22. The
machine is provided with the sticker "Do not pick up sources of ignition" (symbol as in Figure CC.1 of EN 60335-2-69).
Only antistatic or metal suction accessories may be used. Note: If defective or non-genuine parts (especially filters and suction
hoses) are used, the machine could leak hazardous dust which may result in personal injury. No plastic sacks may be used in the
dust-extraction part of the machine. Safe removal of separated materials must be done in accordance with the directives of
CENELEC TR 50404.
Warning
This machine is intended for professional use.
Only use accessories and replacement parts included in the Dustcontrol product line.
WARNING
Before use, you must receive training as well as information and instructions on how to handle the dust
extractor and the dust to be extracted. The machine must only be used by qualified personnel familiar with the
provisions of Directive 2014/34/EU.
WARNING
The machine is to be used in Zone 22 or outside explosive zones (air/inflammable dust) in areas where an
explosive atmosphere in the form of air-borne combustible dust is unlikely to occur during normal operation,
but if it does occur, it will only be for a short period.
WARNING
The supplied connector is only intended for connection outside the zone. Standard CEE wall sockets and
grounded sockets of the Schuko type are not permitted in Zone 22. The machine must therefore be connected
to the power supply outside Zone 22.
WARNING
The machine is provided with the sticker "Do not pick up sources of ignition" (symbol as in Figure CC.1 of EN
60335-2-69). (Non-conductive.) Do not use the machine to extract hot, glowing particles or other ignitable
material. The machine must not be used for explosive, unstable or self-igniting particles or dusts with a
minimum ignition energy of (MIE) < 3 mJ. Machines approved for Zone 22 are not suitable for picking up dusts
and liquids with a high explosion risk or mixtures of combustible dusts and liquids. Nor are they suitable for
picking up potentially explosive or equivalent substances according to Directive 2014/34/EU.
