Enterra® VLC Curing Unit
2. Roughen the Eclipse
Baseplate with a coarse bur.
3. Attach wax rims as usual.
4. Mount models on an
articulator after bite
registration.
5. Remove wax rims and
discard. DO NOT THROW
AWAY THE ECLIPSE
BASEPLATE!
6. Set teeth onto the Eclipse
Baseplate in wax and contour
as normal.
7. Send wax set-up for try-in.
8. Invest and flask as usual.
9. Boil out the wax and rinse the
Baseplate several times with
CLEAN boiling water.
10. Immediately after rinsing the
baseplate with boiling water,
place the open flask halves
on the bench and wait 1-2
minutes until the flask stops
steaming. Dab or wipe the
Eclipse Baseplate to remove
any excess water using a
clean towel.
11. SHAKE WELL prior to using
the Eclipse Wax Remover.
2-3 ml of the liquid is needed
per denture. Only dispense
the amount of liquid needed.
Eclipse Wax Remover cannot
be reused. DO NOT POUR
BACK INTO ORIGINAL
CONTAINER.
12. Pour the correct amount of
Eclipse Wax Remover into
the provided disposable dish.
Immediately after flask stops
steaming but is still HOT,
liberally brush the Eclipse
Wax Remover onto the
Eclipse Baseplate. Apply 3-4
applications. (Place beaker
in a well ventilated area to
allow remaining Eclipse Wax
Remover to evaporate)
13. Place flask halves together
immediately after final wash
application. Make sure the
Eclipse Baseplate is in the
bottom half of the assembled
flask. Allow flask to sit closed
on the bench for 10-15
minutes.
14. Open flask and dab or wipe
Eclipse Baseplate to remove
any excess water.
15. Allow the flask to cool
completely.
Packed Acrylic
1. Trial pack with acrylic in the
usual manner.
2. Before final closure of the
flask apply Lucitone® Liquid
with a brush to the Eclipse
Baseplate.
3. Close the flask and allow to
bench set for 15 minutes.
4. Process denture normally.
5. Finish and polish denture.
Injected Acrylic
1. Before final closure of the
flask apply Lucitone® Liquid
with a brush to the Eclipse
Baseplate.
2. Inject normally.
