Protecting the end positions against uncon­
trolled startup:

Take into consideration the fact that
software end positions in the SFC-DC can
be set.
S
Make sure that the controller is switched
off.
It is not sufficient just to cancel the enable
signal to the controller.
S Connect the SLTE to the controller completely at connection 5 (com­
pare Fig. 11).
S
Use the original connecting cable from Festo in accordance with the chapter
Accessories.
