7 Installation, Start-up and Use
IMPORTANT :
Follow the prescribed torque during installation. You find prescribed torque values
marked on the calibration certificate. Over or under-torqued connections can damage
the powermeter and can compromise functionality.
Prior to installing the
compatibility needs to be verified.
7.1 Tools required
For models with a lock ring (e.g., Cannondale
Hollowgram, Rotor 3D24, Rotor 3D30, Rotor 3D+
or Specialized S-Works): specific tool to mount the
power2max
powermeter on the crankset.
For models with bolt-type mounting (e.g., FSA
Gossamer and K-Force Light Megaexo, SRAM
Force22/S900): Torx or allen keys to install the
power2max
powermeter on the crankset.
Phillips precision screwdriver to open and close
the battery compartment.
Depending on model: Allen-key to install the
crankset on the frame.
Depending on model: Medium thread-locking
adhesive (e.g., Loctite 243).
Optional:
Vise to hold the specific tool during lock ring
installation.
