3. Bend your knees in order to avoid hollowing
your back. You can place your hands at the
sides of the back of your head without putting
pressure on your head.
4. Pull both feet upwards in order to tense your
calf muscles.
5. Tense your buttock, leg, and stomach mus-
cles.
6. Form a double chin and make sure that your
head forms an extension to your spine.
7. Pull your upper body slowly upwards using
your stomach muscles. Use your hands to
support your head. Ensure that your head is
only moved upwards passively.
8. Stay in this position for several seconds and
then slowly lower your upper body.
Important: In this exercise the focus is
on your stomach muscles. Tense and
hold your stomach muscles throughout
the exercise. Do not allow your upper
body to rest on the floor and perform
the exercise slowly.
