This apparatus complies with the essential requirements and other provisions of directive 1999/5/EC. gate
automation systems or garage doors must be installed in accordance with the «Machinery Directive»
2006/42/EC (MD), and more precisely standards EN 12445:2001, EN 12453:2001, EN 12978:2003+A1:2009
and EN13241-1:2003. These standards declare the presumed conformity of the automation system.
This automation system must be installed, brought into service and maintained by a
qualified and specialized professional.

Check whether the product you have acquired for domestic use is suitable for your existing gate and
that you have all the elements needed to guarantee safety. Check the specifications in particular
(weight and dimensions of the gate, openwork or full, sliding or leaf, etc.)
In the kit or as an optional extra you should have all the parts needed to guarantee safety (for instance,
sensing bars for openwork sliding gates). If you have any doubts, call in a professional.
