In accordance with national regulations, the
seca 952 wheelchair scale with standing
aid is used primarily in hospitals, doctors'
surgeries and in-patient nursing facilities.
The weight display can be switched be-
tween kilogrammes (kg), pounds (lb) and
stones (st). Weight is determined within a
few seconds.
2. Safety
Before using the new scale, please take a little time to read the following safety instruc-
tions.
Warnings
• Never use the seca 952 chair scale for
transport purposes. Do not use
seca 952 chair scale to transport peo-
ple or objects. If you transport people
or objects using the chair scale, there is
an acute risk of injury.
• Never place the seca 952 chair scale
on sloping surfaces. The brakes on the
casters could be released.
• Prevent the scale from rolling away ac-
cidentally. Use the wheel brake when
the patient is sitting down or getting up
and assist people who are unsteady on
their feet.

The seca 952 can be moved on castors,
and its low power consumption means
that it can be used on a mobile basis with
batteries for long periods.

feet. To give you a safe feeling while
weighing, the chair scale has a solid tubu-
lar frame and a firmly bolted seat. The free-
running casters make the scale very easy
to move. The wheel-locking lever, together
with the swiveling armrests and foot sup-
ports, makes it easier to sit in safety.
