16. Setting the scald protector
Warning!
If the hot water supply temperature is above 45°C, the scald protector should be set.
Failure to observe this instruction can result in injuries due to scalding.

The scald protector (hot water stop) has been set to 38°C at the factory. Set the
system-specific parameters before use.
16.1 Remove the cover platelet (d).
16.2 Release the screw (c) with its disk.
16.3 Remove the temperature selector (b).
16.4 Remove the stop ring (a).
16.5 Trigger the fitting.
16.6 The temperature is freely selectable:
Set the maximum water temperature on the adjustment nut (e), e.g. to 40 °C.
16.7 Mount the stop ring (a) in such a way that the marking (h) of the stop ring points to
the outer edge of the red marking (g) of the rosette (f).

Important!
Mount the temperature selector (a) in such a way that the stop is flush against the
stop ring crosspiece.
16.8 Slide the temperature selector (a) onto the stop ring (b).
16.9 Attach the temperature selector (m) and its screw (n) and disk to the fitting.
tightening torque: 1 Nm
16.10 Fit the cover platelet (w).
17. Adjusting the flow time
You can adjust the flow time from 10 seconds to 5 minutes seconds using the
