The Bariatric Repositioning Sling is intended for lateral transfer of patients be-
tween adjacent support surfaces, moving patient up in the bed and turning.
Note:The Bariatric Repositioning Sling must not be used for moving and lifting in
sitting position.
• Always read the label and check that the sling is in good condition without
signs of tear and wear such as loose seams, frays and material inconsistency.
• Always make sure not to exceed the SWL (Safe Working Load) defined for
the product.
• Always read the IFU for the lifting equipment to perform the lifting
Warning! Do not use the product if any signs of deterioration.
Do Not Wash - this product is designed for single patient use only and should
be disposed if in contact with liquid of any kind.
1. Always perform a risk assessment before starting the specific lifting session
in order to make sure the product model is correct and that the lifting
procedure is fully understood.
2. Before using the sling, read this IFU and the IFU for the lifting equipment to
be used
3. When soiled or stained the sling must be replaced immedeiately.
4. Check the sling for any fraying, loose stitching, attachments or any deteriorations.
5. Warning: Remember to mark patient name on the care label in order to
avoid cross infection between patients.
6. After use, check sling according to the step 3 and 4 above.
7. Store in a dry area.
The Repositioning Sling will fit most lifts with standard hangerbars with loop
attachment hooks. Check the Lift manufacturers documentation for details.
The sling shall be checked by authorized personnel every 6 months according to
ISO10535
