6. USING THE MACHINE
IMPORTANT The safety regulations to
be followed are described in chap. 2. Adhere
strictly to the indications provided to avoid
serious risks and/or hazards.
6.1 PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
Grass can be cut in two ways.
• Cut and shred grass and deposit it on
the ground ("mulching" effect).
• Cut grass and discharge it on
the ground from the read.
When the machine is delivered the cutting-
means assembly is set for mulching.
Expulsion of grass from the back of
the cutting-means assembly.
• Slacken and remove the screw (fig. 13.A)
which secures the deflector in place (fig. 13.B).
• Remove the deflector (fig. 13.B).
• Keep the screw and the deflector
in a safe place for future use.
6.2 SAFETY CHECKS

7. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
7.1
GENERAL INFORMATION

All service and all maintenance
checks must be carried out on a
stationary machine with the engine
switched off. Before cleaning or doing
maintenance work, take out the ignition
key and read the relevant instructions.
Wear suitable work wear, gloves
and safety glasses before proceeding
with maintenance operations.
• The frequencies and types of intervention
are all indicated in the "Maintenance Tables".
The table is designed to help you keep
your machine in efficient and safe working
order. It indicates the main operations to be
performed and the frequency of the same.
Perform the relative operation described
based on the first deadline to arrive.
• The use of non-genuine spare parts and
accessories could adversely affect machine
operation and safety. The manufacturer
shall decline all liability in the event of
injuries or damages caused by such parts.
• Genuine spare parts are supplied by
authorized assistance workshops and dealers.
IMPORTANT Any maintenance and
adjustment operations not described in
this manual must be carried out by your
Dealer or specialized service centre.
