5.1 - Cable replacement
To carry out this operation position the chain on the smaller chainring, with the
Ergopower
control button set to zero. Secure the cable at 5 N.m - 3,7 lb.ft with
™
the cable clamping bolt, using a 5 mm Allen wrench (Fig. 10).
5.2 - Derailleur adjustments
If the chain does not drop from the large chainring to the small one:
• the cable is too tight: tighten the adjusting screw (C - Fig.11) on the casing
fastening block attached to the coupling on the frame (1/4 of a turn at a
time).
• the end-of-stroke adjustment is incorrect: loosen screw (A - Fig. 11) (1/4 of a turn
at a time).
If the chain does not climb on the large chainring:
• the cable is too loose: loosen the adjusting screw (C - Fig. 11) on the casing
fastening block.
• the end-of-stroke adjustment is incorrect: loosen screw (B - Fig. 11) (1/4 of a turn
at a time).
