– Close the discharge isolating valve,
– remove rear end coverplate (Fig. 1, Item 4.1).
– Carefully undo vent plug (Fig. 1, Item 3.1).
Depending on system temperature
and pressure, hot water or flash vapour
may forcefully erupt when fully opening
the vent plug.
Grave risks of scalding !
– Protect electrical parts from possible water spray.
– Switch-on pump.
– Close vent plug again after approximately 15...30
secs,
– re-open isolating valve.
– Rotation check (applicable to 3-phase motors
only).
The left-hand LED with the clockwise pointing
arrow lights GREEN on correct direction of
rotation. LED remaining dark indicates incorrect
sense of rotation: to correct, change any two
phase wires at the pump terminals.
– With the vent plug open and
ATTENTION!
depending on system pressure it is
possible that the pump will jam.
– The pump can, depending on the ope-
rational state of the pump or the pipe
system (medium temperature), be
extremely hot.
High risks of scalding when touch-
ing the pump !

7. Faults

If an operational failure cannot be diagnosed and
corrected kindly turn to your Installer and Plum-
ber or contact your nearest WILO Service repre-
sentative.
