8.1.5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and maintenance work can endanger the safety
of the operating personnel and impair the functionality of
the machine.
• Switch off the machine completely during maintenance
or repair work!
• Secure the machine against unexpected restart.
• Before cleaning with the water jet, cover all openings
into which water must not penetrate for safety and functi-
onal reasons!
• After cleaning, completely remove the covers that were
previously attached to protect them from water.
9. Pump safety instructions
The pump shaft of the PS 12 is a rotating part, which can
cause considerable risk of injury during operation.
Rotating shaft!
Risk of fatal injury from drawing in and crushing!
• Do not reach into the container
9.1. Pressurised delivery hoses
Delivery hoses may only be uncoupled in depressurised
state.
Material spraying out
Danger of injury to eyes from splashes of material!
• Make sure that the hoses are depressurised. Check the
pressure at the pressure gauge. The pressure display must
show 0 bar!
• Before opening the hose coupling, let the pump run
backwards (see chapter "Decommissioning") in order to
relieve the existing pressure!
• Use suitable protective equipment!
9.1.1. Requirements for delivery hoses
Translation of the original instruction
8.1.6. Relocation
Note A change of location may endanger the safety of the
operating personnel and impair the machine function.
• Before relocating, even in the case of a minor change of
location, disconnect the external power supply!
• Always set up the machine in a flat and stable position!
• Secure the machine against unintentional movements!
• Restore the external power supply before starting up
again!
Bursting conveying hoses!
Risk of injury from catapulted hose parts and material
splashes!
• Only use original STORCH delivery hoses approved for
an positive operating pressure of 16 bar.
9.2. Electronic control
Observe the notes in the chapters:
• Installation
• Commissioning
• Malfunctions, cause and elimination
• Decommissioning
Electrical voltage!
Risk of fatal injury due to electric shock.
• Work on the electronic control unit must be carried out
by a qualified electrician!
• Switch the machine off! To do so, press the correspon-
ding main switch!
• Disconnect the mains plug!
• Secure the machine against unintentional restart.
