11.2.1. Preparing the pump and the delivery hoses
Prepare the pump unit:
In the scope of delivery of the PS 12, the rotor and sta-
tor (screw conveyor) are delivered separately and must be
assembled for operation:
Spray the rotor and stator with silicone spray, art no. 64
06 70 and screw the rotor into the stator.
Caution: The rotor must be screwed into the funnel-sha-
ped side of the stator!
If necessary, use a suitable lever as an aid for screwing in.
Screw the rotor into the stator until the rotor is flush with
the stator at the other end.
Remove the pump unit with the pressure gauge from the
threaded rods. Now hold the supplied shim washer at the
pump opening and guide the assembled screw conveyor
through the opening into the funnel and insert the rotor
flange onto the pump shaft. Now push the pump unit
with the pressure gauge back onto the threaded rods.
Caution: Tighten the two clamping nuts evenly.
• Lay out the hoses.
• Rinse the material hoses with water.
• Empty the hoses.
• If necessary, pre-lubricate the hoses with lime milk or
wallpaper paste. Observe the information provided by the
material manufacturer.
• Connect the material feed hose to the pump coupling.
11.2.2. Filling the material hopper
Prepare the delivery hoses:
Fill the material into the hopper.
• Observe the material manufacturer's technical data
sheet with regard to suitability for mechanical processing.
• Pay attention to the life time/curing time of the materi-
als.
• Stir wet material before filling.
• When mixing dry goods, ensure smooth results.
• Fill only as much material into the hopper as you can
process. Mixed inorganic goods will swell and impair flo-
wability.
• Avoid working breaks with inorganic materials.

11.3. Starting pumping

Start the pumping process as soon as
the material has the correct consistency.
• To do so, first press the "On" switch (1), then the "For-
ward" switch (2) (latching).
• Connect the fine-plaster lance to a suitable compressor
(e.g. STORCH boiler compressor KeKo 200, art. no. 64
45 00) and put the pump into operation in this order:
1.) Open the air cock on the fine-plaster lance
2.) Open the material cock on the fine-plaster lance
3.) Switch on the pump using the remote control switch
Switch off in reverse order!
• Adjust the pump speed or the desired amount of materi-
al using the 0 - 10 scale on the speed control (3). Always
start at the lowest speed and increase slowly.
ATTENTION: If too little material is conveyed, increasing
the speed is not always the solution. Also check whether
replacing the nozzle size with the next larger nozzle hel-
ps. Increasing the speed with too small a nozzle results
causes the working pressure to increase!
