13. Cleaning

13.1. Cleaning the pump

There is a risk of injury from material spraying out for per-
sons who are responsible for removing hose blockages.
Always wear personal protective equipment!
Rotating shaft!
Risk of fatal injury from drawing in and crushing!
Proceed as follows to clean the pump:
• Empty the material hopper.
• Add water to completely remove the remaining material
in the hopper.
Attention: Conveyor screw must not run dry!
• Ensure that the waste water and plaster residues are
collected and disposed of properly.
• Run the pump in reverse until the mortar pressure gauge
indicates 0 bar and the material hoses are depressurised.
• Switch off the machine electrically and secure the
machine against unintentional restarting.
• Disconnect the material hoses.
• Disassemble the complete pump unit. Disassemble the
screw casing and screw conveyor and clean these parts
with water. A vice and a suitable lever (e.g. robust screw-
driver) may be required to remove the rotor from the sta-
tor.
• Loosen the remaining material in the pump hopper and
on the pump shaft with a water jet.
• Clean the pressure flange and pump with water and
a suitable tool. Keep the rotor and stator separate from
each other and do not rotate the two parts together until
immediately before they are next used. This ensures that
the screw does not block.
• When the rotor is screwed in again, wet the rotor and
stator with stator oil.
• The rotor (shaft) is screwed into the stator on the fun-
nel-shaped side of the stator,

13.2. Cleaning the material hoses

Proceed as follows to clean the
material hoses:
• An external water hose with Geka couplings is required
to flush the material hoses; you need to connect the hose
to the water supply.
• Push a sponge ball soaked in water into the hose inlet.
Use sponge balls suitable for the respective hose diame-
ter.
• Rinse the material hoses until the sponge ball emerges
at the end of the respective hose.
• Repeat the process until only clear water emerges from
the material hoses.

13.3. Material hopper

Rotating shaft!
Risk of fatal injury from drawing in and crushing!
Proceed as follows to clean the material
hopper:
• Empty the material hopper on the pump.
• Remove the remaining material in the material hopper
with water.
