12. On-going operations
Continuously check the operating
characteristics of the pump.
• If you detect any deviations in the operating behaviour,
shut down the machine immediately!
• Ensure that the damage or defects leading to the devia-
ting operating behaviour are repaired!

12.1. Material consistency

• Ensure a uniform, pasty consistency of the material
during operation!
• Viscosity can change, especially in warm weather con-
ditions (increased viscosity = poorer flow behaviour and
increased working pressure). Avoid direct sunlight.
12.1.1. Material change
Perform material changes as follows:
• Clean the pump and all accessories (see chapter "Clea-
ning").
• To start up the pump with the new material, refer to
chapter "Commissioning".
12.1.2. Relocation
The PS 12 is equipped with two wheels and a handle. This
makes it easy to move the pump on site.
Electrical voltage, rotating shafts!
Risk of fatal injury by electric shock, or drawing in and
crushing.
• Before relocating, always disconnect the external power
supply! To do so, press the main switch on the machine!
• Disconnect the mains plug on the connecting cable!
• Always set up the pump so that it is level and stable!
• Secure the pump against unintentional movements!
• Reconnect the connecting cable to the 230 V socket.
Translation of the original instruction
Follow the instructions in chapter
"Transport".
12.1.3. Work breaks
If the duration of a work break exceeds the curing time
of the material to be processed, there is a risk that the
material will set during the break!
For a work break that exceeds the setting
time, proceed as follows:
• Empty the pump and the accessories used, e.g., materi-
al conveying hoses!
• Clean the pump and accessories!
• To resume work after the break, follow the instructions
in the chapter "Commissioning"!
Rotating shaft!
Risk due to drawing in and crushing!
• Do not reach into the rotating shaft!
• Do not push solid objects into the rotating shaft!
• Disconnect the external power supply! To do so, press
the main switch on the machine!
• Disconnect the mains plug!

12.2. Adjusting the material delivery rate

Adjust the material flow rate with the
potentiometer on the speed control.
See chapter 11.3 for details!
12.3. Plaster pressure
Excess pressure!
Risk of injury from bursting delivery hoses!
• Continuously check the delivery pressure at the plaster
pressure gauge!
• Immediately relieve the pressure through return flow,
and switch off the machine immediately if the delivery
pressure exceeds 16 bar!
