Lack of braking provision
Crush hazard for the hands and laceration hazard on re-
traction and movement within the drive unit.
» Wear safety gloves.
» Do not dismantle the drive unit.
» Never reach between the attachment plate and the
device body or into the inside of the drive unit.
» Maintenance of the drive unit may be performed only
by an electrician.
Crush hazard for the body in the event of collision with
the workbench or other objects.
» Make sure the paths for movement and transport are
clear.
» No persons must be present in the direction of travel
of the workbench.
Risk of injury due to being run over because of lack of
braking provision on the drive unit.
» Once the drive switch is released the workbench con-
tinues to roll forwards under its own momentum.
» Use the drive unit only for propulsion purposes, not
for braking.
» Before starting work, apply the parking brakes on the
castors.
» Do not use the workbench in areas where the floor
slopes upwards or downwards.
