Setting the torque

Check actual capacity of the wrench
with the torque analyzer;
Remove end cap ➀ and unscrew the
calibration collar with the hexagon key;
Insert special adjusting key (provided)
and turn to set required torque: clock-
wise to increase torque / anticlockwise

to decrease torque;

Holding the special adjusting key, fix

the socket screw with the hexagon key;
Check the pre-set torque with a torque
analyzer and tighten the end cap back
on.
Interchangable head use
Insert the required head until the per-
ceptible click.

is valid only by using Stahlwille inter-
changeable heads (Hoffmann
no. 65 7600).

How to get the exact torque
The GARANT torque wrench must only be
operated with the handle at right angles
to the screw connection!
The force used must be applied uniformly
by hand at the centre of the handle ➁.
