CAUTION
Release the emergency release
Crush hazard and broken bones due to forcible release of the emergency release.
» Wear safety gloves.
» Do not use force to disengage the lever.
» Make sure no body parts can be trapped between the lever, body and mobile base.

To retract the drive unit if there is a fault with the control system, use the emergency release.
1. Make sure that the control system is switched off.
» The system LED on the control handle is not lit.
2. If the system LED lights up:
» Keep the power switch on the control handle depressed for approx. 3 seconds.
3. Sharply pull the emergency release lever down.
» The lever will engage perceptibly.
» The drive unit will be retracted.
» The lever will now remain locked in the bottom position.
4. Troubleshooting Faults table [} 99].
5. Press the power switch on the control handle.
6. Turn the drive switch forwards for three seconds.
» The emergency release will be cancelled.
7. Turn the drive switch forwards.
» The drive unit will extend.
» The workbench is now ready for use.
Possible cause
Microswitch not actuated.
