Fundamental safety instructions

The operating personnel must be provided with the instruction manual.
This is an essential requirement for correct operation and maintenance.

Failure to observe these instructions poses the risk of crushed fingers or
injuries caused by detaching workpieces.
2.5

Duties of the operator

All personnel working with the vice must first have read the instruction
manual and particularly the section "Fundamental safety instructions". The
operator must ensure that the vice is only used when in flawless condition.
Unsafe working methods are strictly prohibited.
Conversions and modifications that impair the safety of the vice are not

permitted.
The operator must ensure that only authorised persons work with the
machine.
The operator is obliged to check the vice at least once per shift for visible
external damage or defects and to immediately report any changes (includ-
ing of the operating behaviour) that impair safety.
2.6

Personnel training

FR
Installation, maintenance and repair work must only be performed by
trained specialist personnel.
If the vice is to be operated by untrained persons, they must first be in-
structed by specialist personnel.
2.7

Warranty and liability

Guarantee:
1 year, starting from the date of delivery
