OPERATION

Childproof lock

Your induction hob is equipped with a childproof lock that lets you lock the appliance. It prevents
the cooking zones being switched On unintentionally.
Activating the childproof lock
1. Turn all cookings knobs to the zero '0' position.
1. Turn both the left cooking knobs simultaneously counterclockwise as far as they go and
keep them in that position for minimal 3 seconds.
An 'L' will appear in the display for each cooking zone for a few seconds to show that

the child proof lock has now been activated.
The cooking zones can not be used regardless of the position of the control knobs.

Deactivating the childproof lock
1. Again turn both the left cooking knobs simultaneously counterclockwise as far as they go
and keep them in that position for minimal 3 seconds.
A '0' will appear in the display for each cooking zone for a few seconds to show that the

child proof lock has now been deactivated.
If necessary, turn the control knobs to the "0" position. If, after switching Off the child
proof lock, a control knob is not in the '0' position, the relevant cooking zone cannot be
used.
