10. Operation
Touching or soldering capacitors (or similar components) or leads/cables that are connected to capacitors
may cause a fatal electric shock! Capacitors may stay charged for several hours after you switch off the
power supply!
Note
• The hot air gun is equipped with a magnetic safety switch and will not operate when placed in the holder.
Remove it from the holder to begin use.
• If the workstation does not function correctly, try placing the handle back onto the holder then removing it
again.
• If the hot air gun is placed in the holder after use, non-heated air will flow through until it has been cooled to
<100 °C. Allow this cooling to take place before switching the main power off.
a) Main power ON/OFF
Use the main power switch to switch the power (I: ON / O: OFF).
b) Temperature quick adjust
Press the TEMP ▲/ ▼ buttons to adjust the temperature.
Press and hold to quick adjust.
c) Airflow rate adjust
Adjust the AIR - / + dial to adjust the airflow rate.
d) Attach / remove nozzle tips
Risk of burns! Allow the hot air gun to completely cool before attempting to attach or remove any tips from
the nozzle!
• Insert the selected tip over the hot air gun nozzle, making sure it is securely attached.
• Remove the tip by pulling it away from the nozzle.
Tighten or loosen the bolt on the tip if needed.
