Wash the containers.
Clean the front with the same neutral soapy solution.
Remove the filter tray to get access to the Juice tray fastening nuts (Fig. 5).
To remove the cups, we recommend that you loosen the fastening screws a little and pull outwards
(Fig. 7).
Juice tray and Blade are removed by unscrewing the fastening nuts and pulling outwards
horizontally (Fig. 8).
Unscrew the Balls inside the Juice tray. Under each ball find a washer (Fig. 9). You may use a
dishwasher to wash Juice tray, Filter, Filter Tray and Blade. TAKE EXTRA CARE WITH THE BLADE
(Fig. 3) since it is very sharp and may cause injuries. It is advisable to put the blade guard once it is
clean, so you can continue to perform cleaning operations more safely.
Important Notice:
In case of damage due to improper cleaning, the warranty will not apply.
Assembly
After everything is washed, put it back in place in the following order:
1
Fit the Cups on the machine front shafts and tighten the Fastening Nuts.
2
Fit the washers on the Juice tray and screw the Balls, making sure they are properly tightened.
3
Insert the blade in the squeezer tray and slot the ribs into the grooves of the balls. Check that
the blade slides easily. Assemble both Juice tray and Blade in the machine's three shafts
simultaneously. Never fit the Blade on the Juice tray afterwards!! To introduce the Blade
into the Blade shaft, slightly press down the Blade push (Figs. 8-10).
4
Fit the shafts and the pulp scraper filter in the filter, fit the filter correctly in its position in the filter
tray (THE DRIVE SHAFT SHOULD OVERHANG THE TRAY) (Fig. 11) and fit the set into the
machine. Check that the tray or tank is fitted properly which will also indicate that the filter is in
the right position (THE DRIVE SHAFT SHOULD DOVETAIL WITH THE HEXAGONAL FILTER
ACTUATOR) (Fig. 12).
5
Fit the Front Cover in place by fitting its clasps into the slots. Make sure that the clasps fit
correctly into the slots. You will hear a small click (Fig. 13-14).
6
Fit the drip tray and the containers/chutes.
Before operating the machine, make sure that:
The tray and blade have been properly fitted into place and screwed down.
The blade has been properly fitted into place and in the horizontal position.
The nuts on the cups are properly tightened.
The cups and the balls are from the same colour.
The correct sets of balls and cups have been used (see the section entitled "accessories").
If Blade, Juice tray, Balls or Cups are not correctly assembled, serious damage may be caused to these
parts or to the interior components of the machine.
The display will show the number of fruits to be squeezed. The machine is now ready for operation.
