IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Dear customer: Before starting to use your juicer for the first time, please read this
instruction manual carefully.
The machine is not suitable for outdoor use; it should not be exposed to direct sunlight
or located anywhere that is unprotected from weather conditions or places where
water jets are being used for cleaning purposes.
To avoid any risks, all repairs should be carried out by qualified technical personnel.
Always use Zummo original components, accessories and spare parts. Do not
manipulate the machine to operate it without any of the safety elements.
No responsibility can be accepted if the reason for damage is negligent use of the
appliance or failure to read the instructions in this manual properly.
Contact the company that supplied the machine for technical support; if this is not
possible, contact ZUMMO INNOVACIONES MECÁNICAS S.A. (see details in the
warranty section).
The juicer exerts extreme pressure when squeezing the fruit; for this reason, you
should never put your hands or other objects in the squeezing area (Fig.1).
Never allow the nuts of the cups or squeezer tray to loosen as this could lead to
serious damage to the machine (Fig. 2).
Take particular care with the blade as you could cut yourself when handling it. To avoid
risks, once it is clean, it is advisable to put the blade guard (Fig. 3).
Always unplug the machine from the power supply before cleaning or maintenance.
If the power cable is damaged and is dechatable, it must be replaced by a special cord
or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
If the power cable is damaged and is non dechatable, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer either by its after-sales service or by similarly qualified professionals to
avoid danger.
The machine should not be used by children younger than 8 years old, anybody with
impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities, or those lacking in experience and
knowledge, unless they are supervised or have received training. Children should be
supervised to ensure they do not play with the machine. Cleaning and maintenance
that is the responsibility of the user should not be undertaken by unsupervised
children.
