LEAF BLOWER

Assembling the machine

See fig. 1 and fig. 2
Installing the attachment
Undo the wing screw (4) on the coupling sleeve, pull out
the knob (1) and push the drive axle (2) into the connec-
tor by gently turning it back and forth. The locking knob
(1) must engage fully into its hole (3). Tighten the wing
screw (4).

Machine use

For considerate use with regard to others and to the
environment:
- Avoid disturbances insofar as possible.
- Adhere strictly to the local regulations for the
disposal of leaves.
- Adhere strictly to the local regulations for the
disposal of oil, petrol, damaged parts or other
environmentally damaging substances.
If possible, use the machine only for dry leaves.
Work only at walking pace, never at running pace.
Always keep the machine nozzle free. If the machine
makes unusual noises or high levels of vibration, it must
be checked. Unusually high levels of vibration may
impair the health of the user or lead to the machine being
damaged.
The leaf blower can be used to clear leaves and grass
cuttings off lawn areas, paths, streets, courtyards and
terraces.

Operating the machine

The motor drives the impeller (fan) via the shaft in the
tube and this creates an airflow in the interior of the
housing. This is compacted at the air nozzle and exits
this at high speed.

Working techniques

Keep the air nozzle close to the ground and move it
forwards with side-to-side swinging motions. Blow the
leaves into a suitable heap.

At the end of work

Once the work is finished:
- Switch off the motor as described beforehand.
- Wait until the machine has come to a standstill and
remove the blower attachment from the motor part if
necessary.
