PI SOUND/MUTE
Device reaction when a transmission area is reached where 2 different stations with different programme
identification (PI) are transmitting the same AF (alternative frequency).
PI SOUND:
The radio switches to the new station briefly and then back.
PI MUTE:
The new station is muted.
RETUNE S/L
RETUNE S:
When the radio does not receive traffic announcements or programme information
anymore for 30 seconds, the auto-scan starts.
RETUNE L:
When the radio does not receive traffic announcements or programme information
anymore for 90 seconds, the auto-scan starts.
MASK DPI/ALL
Device reaction during station search.
MASK DPI:
Alternative frequencies with different programme information (PI) are not considered.
MASK ALL:
Alternative frequencies with different programme information (PI) and alternative
frequencies with a high signal strength but without RDS information are not considered.
EONTA LO/DX
With this function, switching to traffic announcements of other programmes in the same station chain can
be made dependent on their reception strength.
LO:
The device only switches to EON traffic announcements when the EON transmitter
signal strength is good and no interferences are to be expected.
DX:
The device always switches to EON traffic announcements. The signal strength is not
considered.
REG ON/OFF
Consideration of the regional ID with automatic frequency switching:
ON:
The device only switches to a different frequency with exactly the same programme
(identical regional identification) if the reception grows weaker.
OFF:
When the reception grows weaker, the device also switches to a different freq1uency
with another regional identification.
TAVOL
In case of traffic reports and activated TA function, the pre-set volume is selected where the volume set
is lower.
Set the desired volume by turning the VOLUME rotary control (4).
