Notes
● Observe the permissible roof load.
● Correctly install ventilation ducts.
● Unpack fan unit. Dispose of packaging
material ( chapter 14).
● Lay a permanent power cable to the
installation location.
● Always note the relevant specifications
for electrical installations and when fitting
equipment. In Germany observe DIN
VDE 0100 and the corresponding parts
in particular.
● To prevent transmission of vibrations to
the duct system, use flexible fixing cuffs
(ELR type)
● To prevent leakages, screw the EHD roof
socket only onto a suitable even base. In
order to fit the EHD unit directly on the
ventilation duct, remove the EHD roof
socket (3 tapping screws).
● Use suitable insulation, sound-deadening
and installation material between the unit
and roof socket.
● With a free inlet, fit a protective grille (type
SGR) in front of the fan housing [7].

9.1 Fan installation
