4.5.3 MEASUREMENT & RESULTS
At the start of the measurement:
- the instrument measures U
greater than 60V

- the instrument checks the connections: if incorrect, the measurement is refused and the
faulty connection symbols are displayed flashing.
- if a spurious voltage affects the stability of the measurement to be performed, the "NOISE"
symbol is displayed flashing,
During the measurement,
- if a voltage > 60 V
Notes :
→
if the measurement is unstable of the measurement results are inconsistent, trigger the
measurement again to check that the problem is not a faulty connection.
→
any change to the "A" or "d" distance parameters after the measurement will automatically result in
a new resistivity calculation by the instrument.
→
several measurements can be saved for different distances in a single OBJ:TEST test location : in
this way, the resistivity can be determined as a function of the distance, and therefore of the depth of
the measurement location.
