Installing the Batteries

To install the battery trays into the UPS and EBM chassis:

Only qualified service personnel (such as a licensed electrician) should perform the
battery installation. Risk of electrical shock.
1. Verify that the battery breaker on the UPS and all EBMs is in
the OFF position (see Figure 3).
