13. Operating the Alarm System by Telephone
The alarm system can be operated by telephone. The following operating options are possible by
telephone:
- Arming the alarm system
- Disarming the alarm system
- Checking the system status
- Activating/deactivating the wireless switching module (the wireless switching module is optionally
available. Order No. 751223)
Proceed as follows to gain access to your alarm system via telephone:
• Dial the telephone number of the connection to which your alarm system is connected.
• Hang up after the phone rings twice.
• Wait at least 10 seconds, but not longer than 40 seconds and redial the telephone number.
• The alarm system answers your call and you are requested to enter a correct password. You can enter
either the master code or the secondary security code.
• If the correct security code is entered, you gain access to the following list of operation options.

Explanation
You hear the voice message, that the
wireless switching module is activated.
The alarm system now sends a signal to the
wireless switching module. As soon as the
radio switching module is activated this then
sends a further signal back to the alarm
control centre and you hear a voice message
confirming that the activation was successful.
You hear the voice message, that the
wireless switching module is deactivated.
The alarm system now sends a signal to the
wireless switching module. As soon as the
radio switching module is deactivated this
then sends a further signal back to the alarm
control centre and you hear a voice message
confirming that the deactivation was successful.
You hear a voice message regarding the
system status.
You hear a voice message „system
activated".
You hear a voice message „system
deactivated".
This ends the connection to the alarm system
and you leave the remote mode via
telephone. You can now hang up the phone.
