• 1 x SLB‐700A/06-1 strain transducer (version with 6 m cable) or
SLB‐700A/12-1 strain transducer (version with 12 m cable)
• 1 x mounting instructions

General application instructions

SLB‐700A/06 and SLB‐700A/12 strain transducers are suitable for measuring
positive and negative strain. Because they provide highly accurate static and
dynamic strain measurements, they must be handled very carefully. Particular
care must be taken when transporting and installing the devices. Dropping or
knocking the transducers may cause permanent damage.
The specifications list the permissible limits for mechanical, thermal and elec­
trical stress. It is essential that these are taken into account when planning the
measuring set‐up, during installation and, ultimately, during operation.
