Manual Disinfection

Gebrüder Martin recommends disinfection by wiping.
Use only disinfectants which do not contain chlorine and which are certified by officially

recognized institutes.
Note the manufacturer's specifications for the use of the disinfectants.

Mechanical Cleaning and Disinfection

The angled screwdriver can be cleaned and disinfected in a thermo washer disinfector.
After the manual pre-cleaning and disinfection Gebrüder Martin recommends processing in the
thermo washer disinfector.
Evidence of the medical device's basic suitability for effective automated disinfection was
provided by an independent test laboratory using the "Miele PG 8582 CD" washer disinfector
(Miele & Cie. KG, Gütersloh) and the "Dr. Weigert neodisher
(Dr. Weigert GmbH & Co. KG, Hamburg).
Cleaning at 55 °C (131 °F) – 5 minutes

Disinfection at 93 °C (200 °F) – 5 minutes
•
Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for devices and cleaning and rinsing agents.

Risk of material damage!
• Ensure that the dismantled angled screwdriver is placed in the thermo washer disinfector
correctly.
