Manual precleaning
1. Clean the surfaces under cold water using a soft brush until all visible contamination has been removed.
2. Immerse the products in a solution of 6 % hydrogen peroxide and demineralized water for 10 minutes.
Then remove the stubborn contaminations from the product with a cleaning pad.
3. Ultrasonic cleaning: 5 minutes with 0.5 % mildly alkaline utility solution
4. Rinse 3 times with the cleaning gun, pressure: 2 bar; then rinse for 1 minute under cold water.

Machine Cleaning and Thermal Disinfection
The electrodes can be machine reprocessed like other surgical instruments as long as they are held
securely, e.g., in special trays with clamps.
• The quantity and type of loading in the trays selected for the cleaning are to be selected in such a way
that the cleaning result will not be obstructed.

Machine cleaning process
Machine cleaning procedure:
• 2 min pre-rinse with cold water
• Drying
• Clean 5 min with 55 °C hot water and 0.5 % cleaning agent (MediClean forte)
• Drying
• Clean for 3 min with cold, demineralized water
• Drying
• Clean for 2 min with cold, demineralized water
• Drying

Sterilization
Corrosion inhibitors are not permitted when using the autoclave.
