Maintenance

Warning:
Always disconnect the machine from the mains during any servicing and maintenance
work. Never work alone! There should always be two people with electrical experience
present when servicing and repairs are being carried out.
6.1

Cleaning the milling machine

Wipe the milling machine occasionally with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or tools.
After each milling, the machine should always be cleaned of any milling dust and splinters with a brush and checked
to ensure that it moves freely. It is important to ensure that no metal splinters get into the guiding mechanism of the
columns.
Caution:
Never use compressed air, water or solvents to clean the milling machine. Do not steam
clean the machine.
6.2

Changing the halogen bulb

Turn the ring on the lamp head right towards the arrow
The cover can now be taken off. Remove the halogen bulb from the socket using tweezers or pliers.
To insert the light bulb and assemble the lamp, simply reverse the procedure.
Caution:
Do not handle the glass of the halogen bulb, as fingerprints can destroy the light bulb
when it is switched on.
6.3

Changing the fuse

In order to replace the fuses all connections must be disconnected from the control unit. Pull forward the control
unit under the milling table, then unscrew the 4 upper fixing screws of the cover and remove the latter. The fuse
holders can now be removed upwards and the fuses can be replaced.
