7. Maintenance

Warning: Always switch off the machine and remove the power supply prior to all types of servicing and
maintenance. If you have any technical questions regarding the machine, please contact our

7.1 Replacing the gloves

Remove the screws from the insertion ring and pull the glove off from the metal ring. Pull the new glove from the inside
towards the outside and over the metal ring. Place the glove with ring back into the chamber opening and attach the insertion
ring with the screws lightly tightened. Adjust the glove and then carefully tighten the screws alternately.

7.2 Replacing the sandblasting nozzle

Remove the nozzle holder on the sandblasting head (if necessary block the sandblasting nozzle with an object, not with bare
hands, and whilst the sandblasting chamber is closed gently tap the foot control. The nozzle holder should jump off.) Remove
the sandblasting nozzle and replace with a new one. Press the nozzle holder back onto the sandblasting head.

7.3 Replacing the fluorescent lamp

Remove the lid by loosening the screws, unscrew the lamp reflector beneath and pull the fluorescent lamp (G23 11 W) from
its socket and replace with a new one.
Screw the reflector and the lid back on.

7.4 Replacing the viewing window

Unscrew the support splints from the base of the frontal flap. Remove the glass pane and replace with a new one. Screw the
support splints back on.

7.5 Replacing the vacuum tube and vacuum pipe

The vacuum tube is connected to the side of the sandblasting head and can be removed by pullingout.
Attach the new vacuum tube to the sandblasting head and press on as far as it will go. Place the brass pipe into the tube and
pass through to the sieve.
