Unlocking the swivel arm
The milling arm lock (illus. 5, 5) can be released using the locking lever (illus. 5, 5.1). The milling arm then moves fre-
ely and can be positioned as required. Once it is in the correct position, the arm is locked again by pressing the lever.

Using the milling head
The machine is switched on at the ON/OFF switch (illus. 3, 3.1) on the back of the control unit. The motor is started
by pressing the left foot control. If continuous operation is required please push the start-button (illus. 3, 3.5). The
appropriate cutter is selected for the work to be carried out and inserted in the chuck before starting the motor.

Setting the motor speed and changing the rotational direction
The motor speed can be set between 1500 min
motor speed is shown on the display screen (illus. 3, 3.3).
The rotational direction is set using the switch (illus. 3, 3.6) on the front of the control unit.
Caution:
The rotational direction switch should only be used when the motor has stopped.

Using the model table
The model table (illus. 6, 6.1) is supplied with air through the compressed air connection (illus. 6, 6.2) enabling it to
be moved easily over the base plate or locked in place.
5.6.1 Locking and moving the model table pneumatically
A secure connection to the compressed air supply (illus. 6, 6.1) is provided by a quick-release coupling which allows
the hose to be easily inserted into the model table. To disconnect the supply, push the ring back and at the same time
pull the hose out of the connection.
