5. Press the
button for a steam blast (15), move the bottom of the iron (11) a little in
front of or on the fabric and then release the button again.
6. Wait a few seconds before you press the button again. NOTE: The lower the ironing
temperature, the weaker the production of steam and the longer it takes for more
steam to be produced.
Spray Function
The spray function is suitable, for example, for moistening delicate textiles which cannot
be steam-ironed. This function is independent of the steam function and is possible at
any temperature. NOTE: The water reservoir must have been fi lled (see the "Filling the
Water Reservoir" section).
After Use
1. Once you have fi nished ironing, move the steam quantity control to position
the temperature control to position Aus (off).
2. Place the device into the storage station or vertically onto the base.
3. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
4. Allow the bottom of the iron to cool down completely.
5. Empty the water reservoir. To do this, open the water reservoir cap, hold the iron over
a sink or similar outlet and turn it upside down. Allow all of the water to fl ow out of
the reservoir.
6. Then connect the iron to the mains power and move the steam quantity control and
temperature control to the maximum setting for one to two minutes so that the rest of
the water evaporates. Then repeat steps 6 to 9.
7. If necessary, wipe down the outside of the device or the storage station with a soft,
slightly damp cloth and dry it with a soft cloth.

1. Make sure that the water reservoir has been fi lled.
2. Heat up the device.
3. Move the steam quantity control to steam generation.
4. When performing vertical steam-ironing on delicate fab-
rics, hold the iron a few centimetres away from the fabric.

Press the
spray button (16) a few times. Water will be
sprayed through the spray nozzle (12) onto the fabric.
