Ironing
1. For steam-ironing, slide the steam quantity control, depending on the quantity of
steam you want, to the
position
.
2. If you want to iron with a connected mains cable, move the adapter catch (6) to posi-
tion C, take the iron off the storage station and move the bottom of the iron (11) back
and forth on the fabric until it is smooth. Use the device like a conventional iron.
To iron cordlessly, slide the adapter catch to position A and take the iron off the stor-
age station without the adapter and cable. Place the iron into the storage station to
heat up at regular intervals (approx. 2 to 6 minutes). The intervals are slightly longer
with dry-ironing than they are with steam-ironing.
3. When the water reservoir is empty, steam will no longer be produced. Follow the
instructions in the "Filling the Water Reservoir" section to top it up again.
Steam Blast / Vertical Steam-Ironing
CAUTION!
Make sure when doing vertical ironing that there is plenty of space around the item
of clothing which is to be ironed. You may only perform vertical ironing if the item of
clothing is hanging on a hanger and cannot come into contact with other garments,
objects, people or animals.
Iron the laundry only in places where heat and moisture cannot do any damage, e.g.
NOT in front of wallpaper, windows or mirrors.
In addition to conventional steam-ironing, the iron can also emit a strong blast of steam,
e.g. for smoothing stubborn creases or textiles which are hanging up.
As the temperature drops quickly with this function, we recommend that the iron
should be attached to the mains cable and connected to the mains power.

2. Connect the adapter (5) to the base (4) of the iron. The
three contacts (7) in the base must be placed in the three
openings in the adapter and the connection must audibly

3. If you have not already done so, place the storage sta-
tion (9) onto the ironing board or a stable, fl at, heat-resist-
ant and moisture-resistant surface.
4. Place the iron with the adapter into the storage station.
5. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed mains socket
that is easily accessible.
6. The device starts to heat up. As this happens, the tem-

bottom of the iron has reached the set temperature and
you can start ironing.
