Alsatian onion tart (tarte flambée)
cooked in the «PIZZAmax 8»
Ingredients
Yeast dough or pizza dough / pre-prepared dough
Crème fraîche
Chopped onions
Streaky smoked bacon cut into small cubes
Salt and pepper
Caraway (as you like)
Preparing
Use the Stöckli dough cutter to prepare pan-sized dough pieces and spread them out
in the pans so that the dough covers the sides.
Coat with crème fraîche – 1 to 2 table spoons per pan.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add the chopped onion and
bacon cubes.
Season to taste with caraway
Bake for 8 – 10 minutes.
Turn or rotate the tarts in the pan when they are brown on one side to cook them
evenly all over.
Do not overload the pan.
