12. Alarm Feature and Hour Signal

• First change to the alarm display mode (e.g. press the "MODE" button
repeatedly until the alarm symbol "AL" (3) is displayed). The current time (1)
is shown in the upper line and the currently set alarm time (2) is shown in the
lower line.

• The "ST./STP." button can be used to switch on the hour signal (4) on or off.
• The "LAP/RESET" button can be used to switch on the alarm (5) on or off.
ST./STP.
• To set the alarm time, press the "MODE" for approx. 2 seconds until the
minutes of the alarm time start to flash.
You can increase the displayed value with the "ST./STP" button, the "LAP/
RESET" button reduces the value (hold either button down for fast adjustment).
• Briefly press the "MODE" button, the alarm hours flash. You can increase the

displayed value with the "ST./STP" button, the "LAP/RESET" button reduces
the value (hold either button down for fast adjustment).
• If you briefly press the "MODE" button again, you return to the alarm minute
setting.
• To exit the setting mode hold down the "MODE" button for approx. 2 seconds.
The alarm signal sounds for approximately 30 seconds at the alarm time. You
can stop the alarm sound within that period by pressing any one of the

"ST./STP.", "MODE" or "LAP/RESET" buttons.
