How long you can spend in the sun without suffering any damaging effects is, thus, practically impossible to
determine. Every skin is different.
The skin of children is much more sensitive than that of an adult. This can lead to an increase in the risk of
cancer as an adult, if, as a child, a person spent a lot of time at the beach in the sun without protection.
