Two different UV values can be set for the alarm, when the values are
reached or exceeded a short alarm tone sounds (for 10 seconds) (see
"A" in the figure below on the left).
• First change to the UV index display mode (e.g. press the "MODE"

button repeatedly until the UV index is displayed in the lower line of
the display).
• The display shows "LO", and two dashes "--" flash. The lower UV
alarm can now be set (see figure on the left, Alarm "LO").
• You can increase the displayed value with the "ST./STP" button, the
"LAP/RESET" button reduces the value (hold either button down for

fast adjustment). If set to "--" the alarm is switched off.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button, "HI" is shown in the display and two
dashes "--" flash; the upper UV alarm can now be set (see figure on
A
the left, Alarm "HI").
• You can increase the displayed value with the "ST./STP" button, the
"LAP/RESET" button reduces the value (hold either button down for
fast adjustment). If set to "--" the alarm is switched off.
• Hold down the "MODE" button for 2 seconds to leave the setting
mode, or briefly to enter the calibration mode ("CAL" flashes in the
display, see next section).
