For safety reasons the proper attachment of the tow ball (2)
should be checked as follows:
1. The green marking (11) on the handwheel (5) points at the white
marking (10) on the tow ball (2).

2. The handwheel (5) rests on the tow ball (2) without any gap being
present (arrow) and can be locked up.

3. The tow ball (2) sits tight in the fixing sleeve (12). No play what-
soever should be present also when shaking it forcefully by hand.

4. The tow ball (2) is locked up, i.e. the handwheel (5) can no longer
be pulled sideways.

Caution!
If one of the above conditions is not fulfilled, the towing device
shall not be used. Accident hazard! Please contact your
authorized workshop.
