Faults
Possible faults in the drive function are listed in the Top Control operating instructions. If the drive unit or the Top Control are faulty,
repair must be carried out by Bürkert.
Replacement of the diaphragm
Auf der fluidischen Seite besteht die Möglichkeit bei Verschleiß oder bei Beschädigung die Dichtmembrane zu tauschen. Hierzu
muß der Antrieb vom Gehäuse demontiert und montiert werden.
Procedure:
1. Remove the electrical and pneumatic supplies from the Top Control.
2. Place the driv eunit onto the housing and lightly tighten the housing scresw over the diagonal untio the diaphragm lies in
contact beetween the housing and the drive unit.
3. Pull off the pneumatic hose between Top Control and drive unit at control connection of drive unit.
4.1In the case of control function A, pressurize the lower control connection of the drive unit with compressed air (5 to 7 bar)
twice and relive again so that the valve switches. Then tighten the housing screws without control pressure to the nominal
torque given below.
4.2In the case of control function B, pressurize the upper control connection of the driv eunit with compressed air and switch
the valve twice. Tighten the housing screws with applied control pressure to the nominal torque given below.
