TOOLS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION

Drill and drill bits: 9 mm (23/64"), 11 mm (7/16"), Ø 40 (1" 9/16) hollow mill;
hex. wrenches: 13 mm.
"QUICK™" ACCESSORIES RECOMMENDED
• Anchoring RL control board (mod. 800) • Waterproof hand helds R/C (mod. HRC 1002) • Foot
switch (mod.900) • Hydraulic-magnetic circuit breaker • Anchor chain counter (mod. CHC 1102M
and CHC 1202M) • Radio control (mod. 1302, 1352; 02, 302).

ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

1. The windlass has to be placed in position by aligning the gypsy with the bow point.
2. Before drilling holes, check the following: check the following parts before drilling the holes:
make sure no obstacles are present under the deck that interfere with cable laying.
The deck should be thick enough to assure secure capstan anchoring.
3. Once the ideal position has been found, drill the holes using the jig (38) supplied.
4. Tighten the stud bolts (39), using the short threaded side, on the base. Apply an average
type of threadblocker.
5. Place the upper part in position and connect it to the bottom part. Secure the windlass by
using the studs (39) and the nuts supplied.
6. Connect the power cables coming from the reversing solenoid unit to the electric motor.
WARNING:
the QUICK™ windlasses are designed to weigh the anchor. Do not use the
windlass - reversing solenoid unit - base gasket - Handle - bolts
before wiring up, be sure the electrical cables are not live.
