Object Dictionary
The Object Dictionary (OD) is used for, among other
things, determining which existing communication
objects can be made available and how.
The OD is organized in the form of a table. The entries are
addressed with a 16 bit index (table row address) and an
8 bit subindex (table column address).
The OD consists of object groups that are called profiles.
These profiles describe the characteristics of a device.
