Doorbell connection
Plug the transmitter into a convenient
mains socket. Plug the 2.5 mm cinch
plug of the doorbell cable into the
socket at the underside of the trans-
mitter. Lay the cable to the bell push
or door chime. Connect both wires to
the screw contacts of the bell push or
door chime.
Warning: The transmitter is only
desig ned to work with low voltage
doorbells. Do not connect the thin
doorbell cable to the mains supply.
This could be extremely dangerous
for the user and may destroy the
transmitter. The doorbell voltage must
be at least 3 Volts and must not
exceed 15 Volts. Both AC and DC can
be used. Pressing your doorbell will
now cause each receiver to flash with
the corresponding number of flashes.
A second doorbell may be connected
into the remaining doorbell socket.
The receiver will flash differently for
doorbell 1 and doorbell 2.
Failure causes
- You did not press the doorbell for
long enough. Ring the bell for longer.
- If your doorbell system uses direct
current voltage, you have not con-
nected the wires with the correct
polarity. Swap over the wires.
- The doorbell voltage of your system
is too low. Either contact an electri-
cian to have the doorbell system
converted or use the doorbell
transmitter acoustic.

Important note
All lisa devices connected to the
mains supply have a low power con-
sumption which may lead to the devi-
ce feeling warm. This is normal and
does not interfere with the normal
function of the devices.
These signalling systems have a high
operational safety. Should any faults
occur in spite of proper installation
and use, please contact your dealer.
High and low voltage spikes (e.g.
during a thunderstorm) can occur on
the mains supply. The lisa devices
have an integrated electronic control-
ler which may stop working after
these conditions. If this happens sim-
ply unplug each of the devices and
plug them in again.
As a precaution remove all de vices
from their sockets during a thun-
derstorm.
The use of halogen lamps or other
equipment (e.g. Micro wave Ovens)
may, in rare cases, interfere with the
lisa signals. In these cases the use of
mains filters or suppressors is advisa-
ble. Please ask your dealer.
Maintenance and care
All lisa devices are maintenance free.
To clean, remove from their mains
sockets and wipe over with a moiste-
ned cloth. Never use alcohol, thinner
or other organic materials.
lisa devices should not be exposed to
excessive direct sunlight, heat, thick
dust, humidity or mechanical shock.
