ASSEMBLING THE MULTILINK ARMS ON THE BASE STAND
CAUTION
Danger of damage to the multilink arms and the truing stand!
• Screw the thread of the multilink arm as far as possible (6 - 7 mm) into the base stand.
• Tighten the nut on the multilink arm to a torque of 15 Nm.
The multilink arms can be fitted onto all M8 threads on the base stand.
DT Swiss recommends the following configuration:
• Multilink arm with the radial run-out at the bottom in the center.
• Multilink arms with the lateral run-outs on the relevant side in the center.
Assembling the multilink arms:
1. Remove the small, silver-coloured nut from the
thread of the multilink arm.
2. Attach the plain washer to the thread of the multilink
arm.
3. Screw the multilink arm as far as possible (6 - 7 mm)
into the base stand.
4. Tighten the nut on the multilink arm to a torque of
15 Nm.
AFFIXING THE STICKERS FOR ADJUSTING THE HUB INSTALLATION WIDTH (OPTIONAL)
Two different stickers are used for the right and left side of the truing stand. The marks on the
stickers relate to the outer edge of the clamping rail on the wheel support (see arrow).
Affix the stickers:
1. Place the hub (of which you know the installation
width) in the DT Swiss truing stand.
2. Align the hub in the center of the truing stand.
3. Align the corresponding marking on the right / left
sticker with the outer edge of the clamping rail on the
base stand's wheel support.
