and dust and should not be exposed to moisture. The cartridge adapters should not be fouled
by the dispensed medium.
4. Troubleshooting
Material fails to flow:
-
Check the compressed air connections of the unit and the cartridge. Ensure that the
pressure regulator is turned on and that the pressure gauge shows the desired pressure.
-
Ensure that the correct supply voltage has been selected. Check that all electrical cables
are correctly connected and that the unit is on.
-
For units with timer control, check that the time setting is not 00.00 sec.
-
With high viscosity media check whether the selected pressure is sufficient or the
dispenser needle has dried up.
Incorrect quantity is dispensed:
-
Change the setting of the pressure regulator.
-
Use a dispensing needle with a different diameter.
-
For units with timer control, change the timer setting.
-
The first dispensing pulses after a cartridge change can produce different amounts of
material.
Air noise can be heard:
-
Turn the vacuum off and then on again to test whether the noise is being caused by the
vacuum function.
-
Isolate the compressed air supply and check that all hose couplings are correctly seated.
Material dripping:
-
Check the contents of the cartridge for trapped air.

-
Use a pointed plastic needle instead of a needle with a metal nozzle.
-
Use a larger needle diameter with a lower pressure setting if possible.
-
Increase the setting of the anti-drip vacuum.
