3. Explanation of symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of an electric shock.
An exclamation mark in a triangle shows important notes in these operating instructions that
should be strictly observed.
The "arrow" symbol informs you that there are special tips and hints concerning the operation.
4. Safety instructions
The guarantee will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with these
operating instructions! We assume no liability for any consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for personal injury or damage to property caused by incorrect
handling or non-observance of the safety instructions. In such cases the warranty/guarantee
is void.
• The code lock must not be modified or rebuilt, as not only the CE approval will expire but also
the warranty/guarantee.
• The code lock should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, intense vibration or heavy
mechanical stress.
• Drops from a low height can lead to defects.
• If the code lock is used in connection with other devices e.g. a door opener or alarm system,
the operating instructions and safety instructions of the connected devices must also be ob-
served closely.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children
• Never let the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic foil / bags etc. can become a
dangerous toy for children; there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect the appli-
ance immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It must be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, if:
- the product is visibly damaged
- the product no longer functions and
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
- if it was subjected to heavy stress during transport.
